I know the holidays were almost a month ago, but I've always had trouble accepting the fact that they don't last very long. Since it's nearly the end of January, I've finally put all my sparkly decorations away. I still have dark chocolate bars and truffles to last me a few months though!

I got this bright blue nail polish in my Birchbox subscription a couple months ago and am still loving it. With an Essie Luxeffects polish layered on top, the final look is really unique.

I got this sequin blue peplum top from Topshop a little while ago and it goes perfectly with these fabulous shoes I also snagged at Topshop at Fashion's Night Out in September. I love the idea of midnight blue sequins with crisp, white pants.

Givenchy's Golden Gloss

Over the holiday season, I wore a lot of Givenchy's Gelée D'Interdit #16 or Celeste to parties or when my lips needed a little extra sparkle. Because it's a smoothing gloss balm, it's never sticky and has a plumping effect. I got my tube last holiday season and unfortunately it was limited edition and it's no longer available. There are still many flattering shades available at Sephora, my other favorite is an electric violet variation. Happy shopping!
